Lift question

I have the 1998 expedition xlt how do i figure out if mine has air ride suspension becuase i want a 2 or 3 inch lift and have heard that if you got air susp. you have to swap out alot stuff to get it lifted? not a body but suspension lift thanks

If you have black air bags instead of coil springs on top of your rear axle (take a peek under there and take a look), then you have air suspension.

If you see a coil spring - and trust me, if you have coils you won't miss them - then you are good to go.
