I have an 06 Limited with air suspension. I want to lift it and probably convert to coil suspension but nothing too extreme.

Anyone have any experience making this change to their 2nd gen?

Regarding the the swap look for sticky as docraymund reccomended. The lift is pretty straight foward as the options are limited for our vehicle (Rize use to make a lift but was 6 or 8 inches and $$$$$) your option are to use a leveling kit, spacers that go between the top of the strut/shock pacgage and the mounting point.

The lits range from up to 3 1/2 front 2 1/2 rear (front needs to be taller to level vehicle) That is what I went with. The most popular is 3"F 2"R. Either way you retain the stop set up.

Yeah, Jb14 summed it up pretty well. I have the same kit he has and also a cool spring spring conversion kit as well (I needed new suspension but mine was already coil springs) and the two kits together get you a pretty high amount of lift (taller than a F350 with my 35s on)
