lightning swap with eaton m122

Hoping to have this build done by mid august!

So far these are the parts I have collected.
Lightning lower and upper with intercooler off a 2003
Alt bracket
M112 off 11' gt500 with 5k on it with 2.6 pulley.
+8 lower pulley
Pulley bridge with metco idlers
Adapter plate for eaton m122
Roush f150 supercharger elbow for 11+ f150 5.0
Snow stage 2 water meth kit.
60lb injectors
Already have dual fuel pumps.


Still need some other small things yet.

Anyways I will be updating as I get aome progress on this thing.

Picked up a m122 from a local guy with 1500mi on it with 2 extra pulleys for 500$

Alt bracket for lightning came today and the lower manifold and midplate came!

There is no intercooler in the manifold tho even tho they said it had one but I cant complain too much bc it was 350$ from the jy, so what would be the best option for an aftermarket 10row cooler? This is off a 2002.

I have a 2003 10 row factory intecooler core myself. Sure you know the earlier 9 row coolers are prone to leak. I know there are a few aftermarket cores available but really have not heard anyone raving about any particular one.

Where and how much did you end up paying for the alt bracket??

I wound up paying 50$ for the alt bracket on ebay.
Some of the intercoolers are twice what I payed for the dang manifold, I dont see how they can charge that much for basically a fat heater core!

Yep, the same jy has the original cooler for 150 but I dont really wanna install a shady used jy cooler
