4 days 5 failures on dash! right now I am having a drive line malfunction, hill start, emergency braking , parking brake, restraint controls, drive mode unavailable! Vehicle goes into limp mode. Goes away on restart. No codes stored. Happened 5/25, 6/2, 6/3, and twice today.! All incidents , except last one today, were after hitting a jarring bump. Last time was after leaving a stop sign and making a left turn nice smooth road. All Alerts, 25 of them, are in my Ford Pass Mesage center. Dealer scanned it this morning no codes!

Get your phone and video each time it happens. Describe on the video where you are, what specifically is happening. Video the dash and any warning lights and error messages that appear. Show video to service writer and demand repair. If they give you the runaround demand to see service manager.

Dropped it off yesterday. Dealer is driving vehicle trying to replicate the issue. I was told if they cannot replicate it I will be responsible for rental??? I have 21k on clock plus 8 yr 25k Ford Protect Premium care. Ford Pass has 25 emails stored with faults over a 5 day period so why do I have to prove anything !!

To give them the benefit of the doubt they probably have had a lot of unrepeatable issues come in and they are covering their ass. What sucks is how the US has created these "luxury" brands. You would think that would be a good thing, have one offer nicer materials etc... But what has happened is they have used them as an excuse to cut corners on the requirements for dealers on the original brands. If you go to Japan Acura, Infiniti and Lexus don't exist. All their dealerships have the same high levels of service. In the US you are pretty much stuck with the lux brands if you want to ensure service you would expect. With dealerships being independent of the manufacturer there is a wiiiide variety of service offered. Some will make sure they have a loner for you, some are free, some give you the number to the closest car rental place. Some service departments are run by car people and some are run by bean counters. Its very easy to tell what type of person is running the show.

7 days at the Dealer today, no diagnosis yet! They were able to recreate issue on Saturday but tech used wrong scan tool and reset it again without a diagnosis!?

Got it back today! They found a broken wire where it was crimped onto the pin in the firewall harness connection. Hopefully that’s it and I can enjoy it again. Kudos to the tech who kept at it and found the issue
