I have a 2011 Expedition with the Car2U Home Automation System that will not open my gate or garage door unless I am parked within 2 feet of it. Since the gate swings, this is not possible.
Also, one my garage doors will open from the left button position only, but the second one will not open without a "special module" provided by Car2U. This is their "Fix" to the problem.
All of my remotes work from 50-60 feet away and the HomeLink System in my 2008 Expedition worked fine.
The Car2U systems does not work unless you are within 2' of your garage door or gate.
Is there a fix for this problem or do I have to go back to using the remotes??
