Just thought I would stop by and say hi to everyone since I just purchased a nice 1999 Expedition XLT and I plan on searching through posts just to get caught up on the ins and outs of this particular vehicle. Even though I am going to miss my bronco, I think I am going to be very happy with my new purchase!

Some of the most common issues with the 1st gen expys are:

Ejecting spark plugs due to low thread count in 2v heads. (not limited to the expys)
Rusting exhaust manifold studs breaking off creating exhaust leak.
Severly rusted rear control arms.
Bad cops (coil on plugs)
