Looking for specs on amp and subwoofer 2002 expy

Hi all!

First post for me. Just bought a 2002 Expy EB edition with Mach stereo. No sound at all from the stock subwoofer.

Previous owner had wiring for aftermarket amp and sub tied in to the existing factory HU.

I would like to restore the factory stereo system to working condition.

From what I have gleened here from this site, my amp is getting the proper voltages and is putting out .057v at the speaker output from the amp.

Is this the correct voltage to feed the subwoofer?

And if it is, what is the correct resistance reading I should be getting on the sub? When I hook up the meter to the 2 speaker wires, I get a reading of 3.5 ohms.

At this point, I'm just trying to eliminate what is working and what is not.

the amp is a.230 watt 4ohm sub amp the out put voltage will varie with stero volume. you grad any speaker and see if the amp is working. both the amp and speaker seem to have a high fail rate. hope this helps
