hello all.

My ac on my 2013 el is cooling fine. The only issue is when I first start it up. It blow cool but not cold like my other car. When I start driving and get over 40+ mph it starts to get cold. I live in El Paso TEXAS where right now is about 101 with a heat index of 110.

Is this normal? What about those Ac refill cans they sell? Thx

Mine is like that as well. I have checked coolant and it's full. I suspect it's my fan.

Read the stickies in the Heating and Cooling section, learn how the ac works and do some simple diagnosis.

Don't add refrigerant until you know what the static pressure, high and low pressures are.

Clean the radiator fins, condenser fins with a water hose, check the fan operation when the ac is on max.

FYI - Coolant is used in the engine cooling system. Refrigerant is what is used in the ac system.
