I'd like to find a way to lower the brake pedal in Expedition. The pedal sits too high above the gas (yes, I know they do this for safety), but for my safety, I have to lower it to be able to use the whole brake with my foot. I have a problem with a tight Achilles, and the brake needs to come down for me to brake safely. Do you have any suggestions?

You've run the pedal down electrically and that's not low enough ? ( Page 103 in the owners manual ...).

Yes, it is all the way down, but I think it is still too high. I'd like to lower it an inch or two.

Only other thing I can think of is to take the pad off of the pedal. Put some skateboard tape on it to keep you foot from slipping off.

I suggest to google “how to lower break pedal”
You will find recommendations about shortening or adjusting the push rod if this is applicable to your vehicle.
