2025 Platinum 22" Hwy Tires - Use Off Road - Beach?

Good morning Lads,
Have a 2025 Platinum, with 22" Rims and Michelin All Season Radials, 275-50R 22, on 22" rims, pretty standard. Would you air these down to 15 PSI, hit the 4WD, and drive them on the beach to go fishing on the Outer Banks of NC? Or, should I invest in some 17"- 18" Ford OEM rims and get some proper A/T tires with more 'Teeth' for the sand?
Tylus or Brennan, I would appreciate your thoughts!

Sorry, but I would have a beach rig not a beautiful Expedition to drive to the water. I have seen how fast beach rigs rust, or corrode away. Unless you buy a new rig every couple years.

No need for AT tires, but you definitely want to air down and low profile tires aren't good for that. Some 17" or 18" wheels and Defender LTX would be ideal for these Expeditions, in my opinion, and when it's time to replace my tires that's what I'll be going to (from the 20" wheels on my KR).

22" (or even 20") tires really don't have enough sidewall to support the vehicle weight if you air them down. You'd end up with what they call a 'Pinch Flat' going over a sizable rock or edge.

Lads, as suggested, I decided to search for some 17” rims and 265 AT tires. Then, I found a great supplier on eBay, a dealer just pulled some 17” spoke rims with Pirelli Scorpion AT Tires from a new F150 in TX and I snagged them! Just got them balanced and mounted up. Let’s see if these pics load.
