Hi guys, i am new to this board. i did a lot of searching last night, but have seen very few threads on lowered 2007s.

i am planning to go with a McGaoughy's drop and running 285/45 r22 on a 22 x9.5 wheel.

thinking of the black KMC slide or the Mamba M1.

thoughts on which i should choose? i have a black 2007.

is the offset of 38 correct for a dropped truck?

thanks, in advance.

post pics of the wheels...offset depends on how much youre dropping it...offset is for backspacing that may or may not make the wheels sit further out...if youre doing a couple of inches...youre good

yes, just a couple inches to get rid of some of the wheel gap. i think i am going with the KMC slide. my main goal is a clean looking wheel that has no lip. i am only going with 22s, so i need them to "look" as big as possible, thus the no lip preference. i am not sure how to post pics. let me try.

yup, i can't seem to figure out how to post a pic. If i were going with 24s, i would go with a rim with a lip. but since i am only going 22s, then i am going with a flush look.

called a local shop, $350 for the lowering kit. probably going to be $250 to have someone install and align? plus $1200 for rims and $800 for tires....... looking at $3000 for everything. now i remember why i stopped modding my vehicles :(
