Max AC = cold, all others = hot

So... yeah. I turned on the AC and it blew hot air on all settings except Max AC. Any ideas?

Does it still blow it hot if you hit the AC button? When you say hot, do you mean heater hot?

Yep, it blows really, really hot air with the AC button on. Not like, outside air that's gone past the engine and warmed up a little, but like "this is burning my hand!" hot air.

It may be the blend door motor. Could be the blend door itself, but mine seems to have been the motor. I guess they calibrate themselves during startup and the calibration goes out of whack. I looked into aftermarket motors and found Chris at heatertreater.net with reworked motors and stainless steel doors if you need them. His motor seems to have worked for me. If the motor tries to close the door too hard, it will crack the hinge pin and the door has to be replaced. He has some video of the procedure on you tube.
