Max fording depth/wading depth?

There's a boat ramp I use and occasionally the tail pipe is partially in the lake- maybe the lower half of the end of it. I usually keep the engine running.

Any issues with that? Should I discontinue using the ramp? I've had no obvious negative effects so far...

You're fine. Just keep it running. Even if you do turn it off, the large length of pipes and angle of the vehicle, mufflers, and converters will keep water out of the engine, baffles in the muffler and converters all would make it hard, you probably get more water in your engine through the intake when driving in the rain.

It's kinda like farting in the bathtub. The carbon monoxide will be more concentrated so don't go sniffing around back there when bubbling...
