Maxtrax/TRED boards

While looking for traction boards/ramps i saw summit has the tred boards for $105! Am gonna pick up a set - but have any of all y'all used things like them? I saw eleventy-thousand vids - but interested in your experiences.

I've used TREDs and MaxTrax. The TREDs have never been successful at getting the vehicle the needed traction to get itself unstuck. The MaxTrax have been successful.

The TREDs were used on snowy trails and the MaxTrax in dry rocky trails. When the TREDs were used, the vehicle was buried up to its axles. When the MaxTrax were used, the rear diff was hung up on a rock (both times).
