Hi, New to the group, thanks for acceptance.
I am trying to install a Rostra system on my 2019 Expedition Limited with a 8 inch display and Sinc3.
Does the Ford factory include the wiring for the mirrors on the harness when the Expedition did not had factory installed cameras ?
Please inform, Thank You
Verner

Very unlikely. Why would they spend the extra on a feature that would be used in less than 1% of vehicles.

I don't know about the 4th gen Expedition, but my 1995 F-150 had all the wiring installed for factory cruise control even though it is an XL work truck. All I had to do to add the factory cruise control was swap steering wheels (for the buttons) and add a servo under the hood, the wiring and plug for the servo was already there and just plugged into a blank cap on the fender.

edited to add: The logic (for Ford) is that they simplify the manufacturing process by not having separate wiring harnesses to design/install. Make one universal wiring harness that works for every Expedition regardless of trim/options, saves money and time during production.

His question is so badly worded it's hard to understand what he's actually asking. I assumed he was asking if the Expedition had pre-wiring for cameras that don't exist on any trim level. That's what my answer was for. Maybe you interpreted something different from it.

In your case, of course Ford would use the same wiring loom on all trim models. It would be more expensive to have multiple wiring looms manufactured.
