Mirror (Dis)Assembly

I'd like to get my mirrors apart and get the amber turn signal cover off or out if possible. My goal is to be able to tint that amber section to help blend it with the mirror better. Anyone got a guide or can tell me how to get that out?

All you need to do is carefully remove the mirror glass and then the 1 screw that holds the amber section in.
