Mirrors won't swing out or in automatically

Went into home Depot and locked the doors and the mirrors closed when I unlocked the car the mirrors stayed closed.I opened them manually. Is there a reset? Is this an occasional glitch? Or do I have to go to. My dealers sucks service dept?

I'd open them with the button and wait to see if it happens again.

Isn’t it in the settings screen in the gauge cluster that you can set the mirrors to fold when you lock the doors. Mine then unfold when I unlock or start it. Not sure which but they do unfold automatically. The only time they won’t unfold automatically is if you manually fold them. You then have to manually unfold.

I just pushed and held the mirror open close button on the left bottom of the mirror control till I head it pop and they started working.
I think someone walked by and opened and closed the passenger mirror so I had to reset them. Shame Bullet the wonder dog wasn't sleeping in the car window down.

Not sure what year you have, but had to have a 2018 in service for mirrors, they were "aware" of a software issue with them( mine would keep clicking upon opening). They updated software and no issues since. may not be the same software issue but worth asking...
