2011. Have a misfire in cylinder 8. I have changed the spark plug, coil pack & injector. Where should I head now? Would a vacuum leak cause a misfire code in only 1 cylinder? (I ask because a guy at work said leaks can cause misfired)

Does it come back, or did it never go away even for a second when you changed the spark plug, coil, and injector?

Could be iffy wiring to the coil if it is/was intermittent

Could be a a busted rubber or body damage somewhere or a coolant expansion tank leak allowing liquids to get into the spark plug well if it first went away but returned later

PS #8 should be rearmost driver's side, is that the one you swapped? I know it sounds like a funny question, but these things happen. And apparently some cars number em differently

Head for the compression tester. Also change all those things again in the compression is good.

Maybe run a bit of injector cleaner just in case? Who knows maybe there's gunk on the fuel rail where it feeds into number 8

Or try swapping over plug, coil, and injector from 8 to another cylinder. Factory duds DO occasionally happen.

May have found 1 of 2 causes. After new plug put in, still had a code, moved the coil pack, code followed the coil. Put a new coil pack. No more CEL. (For now)
