That's usually caused by a vacuum leak in the supply line. How's the plastic supply line look under the hood at the firewall grommet ? Vacuum line connected to your hot water valve correctly ?

I’ve included the mode door actuator part that I got at pick and pull!!
The bottom of the part in my vehicle I can get to. I can’t reach where the tip of the metal part connects to the part that moves the metal
Piece in and out of the mode door actuator.

The small hole at the end of the metal piece hooks onto another piece that I can’t figure how to get access to it.

The following pics are where I believe the vacuum leach would be coming from. But not sure which hoses to replace or how to replace them. The ones coming from T square someone else replaced. When I run my truck and listen I don’t hear a leak? Not sure if I am suppose to?
Any and all help would be so appreciative.

The pics of your hot water valve. Why is the vacuum line attached to a pivot pin instead of the air nipple on the front ? I think you've solved your issue with these pics.

Your vacuum line goes here .....

That line, if allowed open, will kill your vent control system by itself ....

Yes. It's intact all the way to the firewall grommet right ? You may need to inspect the vent selection control manifold and vacuum lines on it next. It's located at the bottom of the dash in front of the center console. You have to remove the center console to inspect it. Others have reported deteriorated or disconnected vacuum lines on the control solenoid.

Here's the grommet below the PCM where the dash vacuum supply line passes through the firewall, and the hot water control vacuum line comes out of the firewall.... make sure that hard plastic supply line is intact ....
