Thanks. Seats are comfortable LOL, also OR markings anywhere or wood grain paneling. I did read the el has a bigger fuel tank, guess I will look at how many gallons it takes

Just look at the cargo room behind 3rd row. If you have plenty it's the EL, if you can easily reach the 3rd row from the rear it's not a EL. It's like looking at a Tahoe vs. Suburban, not that hard to see the difference between a EL and regular xlt.

An XLT can be optioned nearly to the Limited level very easily. Mine lacks a heated steering wheel but that's about it. OK, it lacks the Limited or even King Range logos on the outside. Black leather on all seats though. XLT used to be a trim line up from the XL model. The lettering is meaningless, it doesn't stand for anything just like LTD didn't stand for anything on earlier Fords (Ford lost the Limited trademark for a few years).

When I gave my insurance company the VIN they asked if it was an XLT or King Ranch.
