Most miles on a tank.

Just recently got my wife a 2020 XLT and just curious what’s the most miles y’all have gotten on one tank of fuel?

MAX 2wd. I added 24.3 gallons afterwards.

Cant remember the furthest but would routinely do about 500+ with 20ish left to empty. Avg 65mph on 2wd ltd. Driving from de to TX, 1680 Mi trip, filled up 3x each way, also did from de to FL,1250mi trip, filled up twice each way, de to SC, 520mi one way, didn't fill up going, but filled up on the way back

Depends on the state since gas was cheaper further down south than up north. Probably avgd around 40 or so if gas was $2/gal. I only used regular 87, never premium as performance was perfect as is. She was actually cheaper to drive than my wives 2019 cz5 when we took the same trip to TX. Did better but by only 5 or 6 gal per.mil, and the tank was 16 gal as opposed to 23 so fillups were frequent, but difference In tank was only $10

Regrettably, I don't have mines anymore. I leased mine in jan 2018 and turned it in jan 2020 with 34k miles due to pcsing out of country(why I leased).

Made it from Cincinnati to the Rio Grande Valley without having to fill up the Expedition. Of course, it was being pulled by the motorhome.

Most miles on a tank when actually driving it was right at 550. 2019 Max.

450 miles, 2019 XLT 4WD. I filled up with 89 octance for my trip to Cincinati from Arkansas.

I have a standard. DTE has been in the 390s. When I drove it off the lot last year it was in the 470s. I don’t know what happened over the last nine months.

2020 Max, 93 octane bought in Georgia last month (Feb 2020). 579 on 28.145 gallons 95% high way miles. This was from Madison GA to Melbourne FL.

I got 544.8 on 27.193 gallons for a 20.03 mpg average last September. This was exactly 1.07 mpg less than the vehicle showed for that tank which is consistent with the optimism it shows.

I usually don't let the tank get that empty.

According to the Ford technical specs, the fuel capacity is 27.8 gallons so that is cutting it really close!

So close. I have a MPG fetish so I can't help it also, I try to make it as far as I can every time.

If I run mine easy, It'll make 23 mpg and at 27 gallons that's 621 miles......
