We have an 09 with 235k. The list of parts is long. . . .

All 4 Struts, front wheel bearings (needs rears), 1 ball joint, brake booster, master cylinder, front calipers, full timing kit, water pump, radiator, thermostat, all cooling related rubber hoses, several interior door handles, a few exterior door handles, 2 window regulators, transmission bulkhead connector, transmission wiring harness, AC blower motor, AC compressor, both Thermal expansion valves for the AC, fuel pump, fuel filter a couple times.

Its needs a drivers side door latch again, passenger window regulator, new front side windows (desert scratches them terribly), clunk in the front end so I suspect it needs a bushing or something. We are at a point where it seems this truck needs something every week. . .

Our friends 08 Expy went 300K and needed only basic maintenance.

275K on my 2013 with no motor or tranmission work other than plugs every 100K. Timing chain rattles for a second at start up, but it has done that since 100K. I did O2 sensors at 250K as preventive maintenance. Replaced all the ball joints, upper control arms and sway bar links chasing a clanking noise when hitting bumps at low speed. Turned out the front caliper pins get loose on these and F150, so I replaced front brake calipers. Mobil 1 extended protection oil changes every 15K. Coolant system flush every 100K, transmission flush every 60K and differential fluid at 200K.

My 07 Limited has 443,000 with factory motor and transmission. I have done the cam phasers other than that the torque converter shutter just stared. Just regular maintenace for mine.

2007 with 280000 and a 2014 with 274000 about to take it on a 3000 mile journey!! And picking up a 2014 king ranch El on the way home. Great trucks if you change the oil more often the the 7000 mile oil change intervals

You’re giving me hope.

How long and heavy is your toy hauler?

I’m doing everything I can to keep ours until 300,000 but we regularly take cross-continent trips with our 7,000lb trailer and I’m wondering how much that might affect its life.

It’s a 2019 max platinum and no issues so far but I needed brakes changed by 60,000 miles including one caliper. Ontario road salt probably killed it.
Well I have only towed a double axle uhaul trailer from Texas to Washington. It towed like a CHAMP I really did not even know the trailer was back there :)

OH YEA :) that gives me so much HOPE :) I am looking at going at least 500,000 or more. I want to keep this Thread going to see how far this CHAMP OF A VEHICLE will go without any MAJOR changes such as Tranny or Motor.

Please help me KLEE
Hellooooo :)

I am just curious and would like to know what are the most miles on a 2007 EL Expedition?
I ask because I am trying to reach MOST Miles ever :)
My girl (Cinderella) has 312,998 :) no engine work ever done. Only changing spark plugs and coils :)
I run Mid Grade gasoline and Seafoam High mileage in her. I also have always used Valvoline

Thanks Yawl KEEP THIS THREAD GOING - ONLY NO MAJOR CHANGES OR TROUBLE AS FAR AS TRANNY OR MOTOR. I believe this is the BEST VEHICL,E FORD ever made, well besides my 1949 Ford with original tranny and flathead 6 still in it.... I want to capture this 2007 as the BEST.... come on FORD Motor Company MAKE THEM LIKE THIS AGAIN :)
