Okay, great information. I usually drive in Normal because I don't really under stand the differences in some of the modes.

So is Normal best when towing trailers?

When traveling on I-95, I-85, etc., I typically run at 75-80 because I have the "impression" I get worse MPG at lower speeds (60-70). Am I deluding myself? My Expedition seems to really "like" 80.

Also, I typically use regular gas - 87 octane (usually Costco around town or Pilot/Loves when traveling); tried High Test - 93 octane, but couldn't see any real difference in MPG to justify the added cost.

Christopher,

A) use TOW/HAUL when towing.

B) I have an '18 MAX XLT and it really likes 65 to 75. that seems like its sweetspot. here in S.Dakota we can go 80 on the interstate but I do see a slight penalty in MPG if i go above 75 or so.
