My 2016 Expedition is rocking too much on a twisty road

Hello,

a newb here. I replaced my Super Duty with an Expedition recently. We use it mostly for ski outings in winter. This car rocks sideways too much compared to the Super Duty to the degree my passengers in the rear seats get nauseous. I get that the suspension is softer than in the truck, but some other SUVs (especially European) don't rock sideways that much.

Are there any suspension upgrades that could mitigate the issue?
I really like the car in any other respect besides this, so I wouldn't want to change it to something else.

Chances are the strut cartridges are worn out and need replacing. Motorcraft makes OEM replacement parts.

Thanks a lot for the reply. Looks like this is the answer. I got into a rabbit hole of different aftermarket struts, and appears, there's a way to make my ride significantly better.
I'm wondering if there are different kind of sway bars or stabilizer bars that can make a car even more stable for the roll?

I had a 2015 Expedition Limited 4x4, purchased new. At about 60,*** miles - I had four new Motorcraft strut cartridges installed. I was very pleased with the ride (no towing - only passenger use).

I am not aware of any different sway or stabilizer bars other than stock.

I’m in a similar situation. 2015 platinum el purchased 12 months ago with 95k now with 105k. Very splashy as far as suspension goes. Love it otherwise. I have the ccd suspension. The shocks aren’t leaking. But I need trailing arms for sure. I’ve read in this forum the Hellwig rear sway bar is a worthwhile upgrade. I’m about to do that sway bar, (the links too) and the trailing arms and the sway bar bushings. Rear only. I’m hoping this sorts my issue. Otherwise I’ll be doing shocks at 4 corners.

Have you sorted your issue? What was the resolution? Curious to hear. I’ll be starting next weekend after kids back in school.
