The bag modules remove as an assembly. There are two bolts that hold the drivers air bag to the steering wheel, they are accessed from the rear. If you intend to remove the steering wheel, do not remove the clock spring from the column. If you do it will unwind and you'll have to buy a new one and have the system service by a experienced Ford tech.

As far as door panels, I am undecided if I'll be painting or wrapping with the new leather that we'll be using for the seats. I'm leaning towards just rewrapping them at this point.

Yeah I kind of know what you mean. Originally the paint job on this truck was suppose to be way more radical then what I ended up doing, but my wife didn't want to drive it that way. I was going to run 24's but now am only going to do 22's. So at this point I'm trying to come up with ways to make a statement and still keep the wife happy.

IDK....quality paint jobs are big money, especially Pearl ones.

I was never into green much until I did this 300 for a customer. This is Viper Snakeskin Pearl. This car wins trophies every weekend...

Thanks. Over the last 5 years we have done a ton of the Chryslers and Dodges, but we've have always been into trucks. We're starting to swing back the other way now.

If your bored and what to see some more cars that we have done recently take a look here

Some of the builds are in the gallery section.

Close to finishing my custom hood!

After 50+ hours of fabrication, sanding dust etc.....I finally nearing completion of my "one off" GT hood.

Here are a few photos of the underneath. The panel, without primer, is going to remain a bolt on part. The hole will be covered in mesh to keep out debris out of the engine compartment. Tomorrow I'll prime and attach that piece and then bolt it back on the truck for a final fitment before paint.

Yeah keeping the original mirrors for now. The first time I redid the truck I fully painted the mirrors, so now all I have to do is repaint them with the new color. I will be updating to 03 door handles though.

Small update on whats going on. I had planned to order a set of Katzkins since we're a dealer for them but to my surprise they don't have a pattern for the EB only the XLT. Unfortunately the XLT uses different seats foams then the EB and the patterns have to match. This sucks cause I had plan the interior color around a Pearl leather that Katzkin has. Now I'm going with RoadWire and have to settle for a color that is a few shades darker then I wanted....oh well. I also ordered my custom carpet from ACC and that should be here next week. Also I still have to decide whether or not to do a suede headliner or to just match the dash color in an oem type headliner material. Suede would definatly be more custom. Other then the interior work there is still alot to do and my self imposed time frame is running out. There is a few big shows in September coming up that I would like to attend before the end of the show season comes. I should have the truck completely painted next week so I will post some more photos then.

Another small update.....

Just got in my Stillen lower front bumper valance and rear roll pan. The front valance is really for a 2007 F150 so I have to make some adjustments to make it work. It is designed to fit over the stock 07 lower bumper on the F150. So I also have to buy a lower bumper bar and brackets. I may also have to cut off and buy the frame horn brackets off the 07 and weld them to my frame to get this all to work.

Still waiting on my Bell Tech lowering keys for the front (already shipped) and I went with DJM 4" coils for the rear. Those are still a week or so away. I'll probably will have to "C" notch the rear frame to give the rear enough clearance though.

Katzkin only shows kits for the XLT, just like they did on my year truck. I have come to find out that Katzkin sells mainly to new car dealers where the dealer was looking to upgrade a car from cloth to leather. At least in the applications that I have looked for, they don't seem to have the patterns for going leather to leather. Thats why I ended up going with Roadwire. They tell me they have over 600 more patterns then Katzkin has.
