I would like to convert my air ride to rear coils/shocks and front coil-over-shocks.

From what I have read the rear is straightforward: salvage yard coils and shocks of my choice..done...but wait, will this alter the std ride height? My garage door is a 7 footer and I don't want to park outside so?

On the front: is it true the 1966 bronco coilovers Monroe 58518 will raise the front 2in and require the torsion bars tweaked? Do I even have torsion bars with the 4 corner air ride? I want to keep the stock ride height or within an inch or so. Is there a known alternative that will maintain the stock ride height?

Should I just get the Monroe 900010 for $230 from ebay? This seems like the way to go: one kit, all included, claims stock ride height? But is this a 58518 front shock anyway?

Please help!!!

Your OEM ride height should be about the same after the conversion I wish I had air. ...
Not sure about the Monroe products. I've had bad luck with them in the past. So I won't use them again. of you go coils. you should see of you can fond some adjustable rode shocks elsewhere. you should be able to find something for around two hundred . And also be able to dial in the ride the way you want it. hope that helps

I got my conversion kit from rockauto.com for $200.00 + shipping. It has the same ride height as before maybe sits a little lower. I would get new because you may end up with bad coils.

Amazon Monroe #90006 for $188

I ordered the Monroe kit #90006 from Amazon this morning for just $188! This kit is labeled for Lincoln Navigator by Monroe but I have found others that have installed it on a 2000 Expy so I am going for it. Thanks for the advice and input.

CORRECTION!! The 90006 kit that Amazon says will fit the Expy is actually for the Navi. Order #90010 for the Expy. Just Suspension is straightening this out and getting me the right kit.
