Need help please!!!

ok so i got a 2000 eddie bauer 5.4l 4x4 well when driving it randomly jerks and sputters and hesitates and shakes. i changed the spark plugs and fuel filter but hasnt helped any suggestions? i was thinking fuel pump but its been doin it for about 4 months and has quit yet so im not sure???

you may have a vacuum leak, check the PVC valves and the rubber elbow thats on the back of the engine by the firewall, ALOT of guys have holes in those and it creates problems similar to yours, the elbow is like 15$ takes little time to install.
