Need some help here!

Friend of mine smoked in my 2010 Expedition.

The A/C was on recirculation while he was smoking.

The car now smells like cigarette smoke.

Does the 2010 Expedition have a cabin filter?

How can I spray deoderant so it gets in the A/C to clear out the smoke odor>?

HELP!

Not sure if the Expys have a filter, but I do think the "input" air for the recirc is in the passenger foot well? Maybe use a match to see where exactly the air is getting sucked in, then spray some Ozium (found at Walmart) in there.

Might help to spray down the seats and carpets since smoke does like embedding itself in fabric.

Thanks for the information! I will try that!

Does anyone know if there is a cabin filter in a 2010 Expedition?

Since this says there is no cabin air filter I would asume this applies to all of the years that share this body style. I have looked through this 2009 expedition/navigator ford workshop manual and there is no mention of a cabin air filter. The reason that people believe that there may be a cabin air filter is because it is in the maintence manual that is just a general booklet included with almost every Ford SUV/Truck. The only 2009 production model of SUV/Truck that has a cabin air filter in 2009 is the Ford Escape.

Most odors are going to be inside of the system or odors in the car. There are remidies for this but are more complicated than just changing a filter. I wish it was easier because I have an odor in my expedition also.

I hope this helps everyone.
