Hey everyone,

My Expy is a police vehicle so the front row(torn cloth) doesn't match the other grey vinyl rows. Don't have a console b/c the cop's laptop thing was there but they took it. Trying to make the front row match using vinyl/leather, but I need help.

Questions:
1. I'd like to get a center seat in the front, but cloth is the only option I've seen for Expy seats. I'm considering using an F150 center seat.
Will the center seat out of an F150(04/08) be a direct bolt-on for my 2nd generation Expedition? I'll have to thread holes, but will I have to drill?
Will the seat fit between the Expy captains chairs I have now?

2. I want to replace my driver and passenger seats. Driver is power only and passenger is manual. I would replace just the seat covers but can't find a good price here.
What are all the direct bolt options I have to replace these? I haven't been able to determine if F150(04/08) seats will be a direct bolt(and plug) or not.

I checked all 78 pages of threads in the 2nd gen section but didn't find what I need. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
aspsx

You may be better off getting them from a salvage yard. There you might have a choice of colors but I suspect you will just find bucket seats with center consoles. Anything else you do i.e. the F150 seats you will probably have to drill holes and use bolts and nuts to attach them to the floor.

I'd be fine with getting Expedition seats from a junk yard if I can find some. I don't care enough to pay for a console so I'd really like to make a jump seat fit. Any idea if there might be plugged holes like there were when I had to install a third row?

Thanks!
