Need my credit card back!

OK I admit it was a stupid place to leave the credit card, so when I braked it slid down under the dash from the little tray and is now somewhere behind this lot! Before I break anything does anyone know the trick to getting behind here please? (You usually find out how simple it is after you snap the fixings off! )

Unless you need it today ... just cancel it and they send you a new one.
Get it very quick with no effort. Have to update autopay if you do that.

Yeah I know how to replace it but am quite keen to see what else has slid down there over the years if it's easy to get to!

I dropped a screw down there while changing the blend door actuator behind the stereo. I was able to retrieve it with a magnetic pickup tool right through the center console. Try checking behind there from the driver side floor and also via the center stack (remove trim panel with plastic pry tools). I would just get a new card though.

What part of the Expy is that? I can't figure that out.

I've used various tricks over the years to get things out of places, have one of those grabber on flex arm thing, Gorilla Tape with sticky side out, vacuum cleaner, small child arm, come at it from 2 sides, etc. Its a challenge and a lot of fun if you like that kind of thing.

It's right under the gear shift. There is a tray for junk in front of the lever and a small gap in front of that which things can fall through if they are quite thin. I've had a plauy with a ruler and tape but no luck so far. The replacement credit card option is becomming more attractive by the hour

OK so I got a new card - then the other day my daughter let £50 slide down the same gap! Bloody hell! So now back to the original Q - anyone actually know how to get into the gap under the gear shift down to floor level? There are a few screws - one under the key tray and one on each side behind the little cover you can see in the photo in the top post but I'm hesitant to unscrew them in case it makes things worse. Anyone know the trick to getting into there?

I've used a vacuum cleaner with a tube attached to get into tight spots like that. Or take off the forward trim piece to gain more access.

Duct tape to seal that high dollar hole.

If you take the radio trim off and the lower plastic where your power port/cig lighter is you can reach in there pretty easily. The trim just pries off. Use plastic tools for this.
