I'm gong to install the Bilstein F150/Expedition Shocks on my 2018 Limited Max so I will have a 3/2 inch lift once they come in(move the power running boards back a bit) I normally go with aftermarket wheels but decided this time to just use 2" spacers on my factory wheels. So my guess is it will be like having 0mm to -6mm offset wheels 20"x8.5"..

Out of these sizes, which size do you think will fit the best? Any trimming required with this setup and where? With this offset is the height of the tire or the width of the tire the concern?

275/65r20 34"x11" $313 Maybe this is the one
285/60r20 33.5"x11.5" $302 Reasonable choice I think
295/60/20 33.9x11.8 $384
295/65/20 35"x11.8" $317 This one I would like to get but guessing it may be a tight fit.

Toyo Open County A/T III
Thanks
Jim

I’m in the same boat on a ready lift kit. I was thinking to go with the 33”x12.5”R22 set up and a 1” spacer in front and 1.25” in rear to square out the stance.

Haven’t seen this done yet on here and I really like the AT III tires. Based on Toyo website the diameter and weight chart info; this set up looks to be the best for 22” wheels.

For the 20” wheels, the 295/60 would be nice.

I would opt for new wheels if it were me. 2” spacing will induce a lot more stress

a wheel that has that same additional 2” offset will result in the same amount additional of stress.

Correct but most on here are going from the factory in +44mm (platinum) to +18mm+\-. Probably no issue doing what the OP wants to do unless you’re on rough roads or wheeling often.

I agree with the above statement. +18 is the sweet spot. I have +12’s I can’t even imagine a 0 or -6. Holy cow. You will need to run tiny tires if you don’t want to rub.

OK, thanks for the feedback on the offset. I know I'm pushing it...may have to reconsider.
What size tires are you running with +12 Fozzy?

I am running a 35x12.50x20. If I can find some +18’s I like I will pick them up. I like the wider look and lip on the wheel but if you go off road they rub even when trimmed and throw rocks like crazy.

My wheels will have a 12mm offset. However, my tires will be much more narrow than Fozzy’s. I will be running 285 width (~11.5”) tires on them.

Also, I just got word that my back ordered wheels should be in mid-December. What a great Christmas present to myself. LOL!

I'm going to try the spacers and these 275/65r20 34"x11". I will post a picture...still waiting on the shocks. Thanks for the information and opinions.
