Never owned a Truck, much less a lifted truck.

Just ordered a brand new '11 Expy 4X4 EL Limited and I want to eventually lift it for better driving down on OBX. What is a good lift height that still rides decent. I'm guessing 3" is too short, would love to put 35" 12.5's on. Would love any information/recommendations.

Honestly, I know nothing of lifts. You might want to go over to the other forum, since there's plenty of users there who are lifted.
