They are just getting around to this recall!!!!!! THis is a problem that I have known about for many, many years. It affects all Ford trucks from atleast 97 to present. The multifunction stalks have been the pain of a lot of issues over the years. yet, they are saying in only affects 27,000 trucks. Maybe 27 million trucks. I want to hear what the details of this are. I have a feeling that there is more to this than simply the brake lights not working. I would tell you that I have diagnosed 26,000 trucks (ok, exaggeration there, but it is a lot) with headlight, tail light, and turn signal issues that were because of the multifunction stalks.

I smell something and it isn't good.

I had to replace mine twice. Once under warranty and once on my dime.
