Hello all,
I seemed to have stumbled my way into a 2003 Expedition XLT 2WD in my search for an inexpensive mountain bike/kayak hauler. My search began looking for older Chevy Trailblazers and such until I found some Expeditions worth looking at. During my search and test driving I grew to love the size of an Expedition versus others I had considered. Consider this an achievement, a diehard Chevy boy just bought a Ford...
My search led me to this particular 2003 XLT with only 101,000 miles. Insanely clean interior for a 17 year old truck. Unfortunately, it has all of the typical Expedition rustbelt issues that plague all of us northerners. At least the motor, trans, and frame are in good shape. I started a thread in the appropriate sub-forum requesting help.
Glad to be here!
