Hello, just picked up a high mileage (200K) clean as could be 2006 Expedition Eddie Bauer 4x4 for $2500. Goal is to have it be a local daily driver for a few years. Would love some recommendations on any preventative maintenance and or common issues for me to peek at and prepare for and possibly get ahead of. I'm guessing like any other vehicle you really can't predict and regular maintenance will carry it but just trying to get familiar as possible. Thanks!

Thanks. That’s actually happening on Monday so from there and at the price paid I think I’m going to do the whole “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” approach

Being its an 06 and you living in the salt belt and winter ix coming fast I would make sure that the Fuel Pump Drivers Module is in good shape It is located on the drivers side frame rail near the spare tire They are know to fail due to corrosion and if it fails it will leave you stranded. Plus the part is about $300 or maybe a little more

Do a search on this forum for more information.

If anything have it checked It is possible that it may have been replaced in the past due to the mileage on the expy
