Congrats, I brought my first expedition back to France with me in 2000 when I moved there from California. I first titled it in the UK as it was much easier and road tax was a lot less than France, then in 2003 France abolished road tax, so I jumped through a lot of hoops and got it registered in France. Sold it in 2005 when I moved back to the USA. Back then it was by far the biggest car in Europe and was a great car, only had one issue with the parking brake which was a Ford recall, Ford even reimbursed me for the cost of the parts. Mine was 4 wheel drive and I kept it completely stock, never had an issue with it, my current expedition has more than 170k miles so these things go for a long time if left stock and serviced regularly.. back then I was told a big bore exhaust and ECU flash where the best way to get more oomph, at the cost of lower mpg.. congrats with your car, I have owned 3 expeditions since 1995 and have no plans to change to another model!! Saving up for my next expedition that I hope to buy new in 2024/2025..
