Hey guys been lurking for about a week and decided I like this forum best out of the few expy forums I have found.
So anyway name is Joe C live in Santa Fe NM, and the proud owner of a 97 xlt 4x4. Got the usual idle probs but besides that it is in great shape with 130,*** on the clock.
I have been building and racing BMW's for about 5 years now. and am currently running a 87 BMW 325 with a custom stroked 2.7 liter on 25 psi of boost via a Holset Hx35, and a custom tune(by me) on Mega squirt She is currently being stripped down for a new coat of paint. So that's why the expy is getting all the attention it can handle right now.
My plans are a small lift as larg of tires as I can fit and basically outfit it for expedition style off-road as the name says
I am toying with the idea of a simple rear mount turbo system since I have a few turbos around the garage that would most likely match the flow for this engine. but that would be the last thing after getting it back to perfect running order.
Anyway nice to meet you all, and hope I can add to the knowledge here! anyone has any questions on forced induction hit me up. I am by no means the authority on it but I have managed to make a lot of power safely on many vehicles.
