Hello everyone, I'm a father of twin boys ( 2 years old) and baby girl due April 27th and we are in need of a SUV! We currently own a 2019 Armada but once we found out about having our third it was obvious that we needed something that worked better and was more practical. My complaints about the Armada include the fact that if I put a car seat in the third row there is NO latch system, the second row seats don't slide up at all so his legs are completely restricted, its a pain in the butt to get in the third row because I have to either take a car seat completely out or get in through the tail gate. In short, it doesn't work for us. I'm thinking the expedition might be what we need based on what I've seen on youtube. Time to do some research!

Loved my 2011 Expedition and now my 2018 Expedition I just picked up last Friday. Definitely great for kids!

I have 4 daughters (18, 15, 12, and 2) and the Expedition has been GREAT. I am glad however to have the 2nd row bench seat instead of the Captain's chairs like my 2011 had. Someone always had to sit in the 3rd row.
Latch works great on the middle seat in the 2nd row and we can still fold a seat on either side of the carseat if I need to get to the 3rd row.

What are you planning to tow? We have an Expedition Max and an Odyssey. The Odyssey is a much better kid-mobile, but it can't tow anything, hence the Expedition. That out of the way, the Expedition Max would be a huge improvement over the Armada. There are latch anchors for all second row seats and the outboard 3rd row seats. I think there might even be latch anchors for the middle 3rd row seat, now that I think of it. And the second row seats will flip forward and slide WITH the carseats installed, which is pretty amazing. It's the only full size SUV that lets you do that. Not even the new GMs... (Of course, the current version Odyssey will do that and let you remove any of the 2nd row seats and slide them left to right, which the Expedition does not do. And your two year olds can probably open/close the doors on the Odyssey and even do so without bashing the cars parked next to you.)
