New tires today

Got my new tires put on today and so far I am pleased. For a 10 ply tire the actually ride out pretty smooth, far better than the ones I took off (MAXXIS BRAVO 751) A lot more quiet on the highway, smooth even on the gravel roads and best of all since they are a bit shorter than the 285/75/16 my wrinkled old but can get in a bit easier too. So here is what I got....

I elected for black letter out since this is not a "cool" ride and frankly I am to damn lazy to keep them pretty. ended up being a grand total of $152.99 per tire delivered, mounted and balanced and on the rig out the door.

ran on some loose rock and some sand crossing old dried up creek bed and never had to engage the 4x4 just gripped nicely around. So far 400 miles since installed from the drive and still a bit of the little rubber nubs are there, hope that is a good sign of more to come....
