1997 exped with 4.6L 178,000 miles

I am from Chicago area Wife went through stop sign and was hit on passenger fender. Broke glass passenger door, popped tire, core support , radiator , grille, bumper etc all have to be replaced.

Still runs and moves.

Motor has problem with acceleration under a load and ignition ping when accelerating. ... probably timing chain

Don't have money to buy new vehicle so I am starting to look and see if I can get a totaled vehicle and change parts .. one to the other.

SOOOOOOOOOO..... I checked out this site to see what info I can get.

Frame is not bent at all. Fender and core support took the impact.
