OEM Style Switch Panels?

Did the police or service industry versions of our trucks have extra/auxillary OEM style switch panels for lights and tools and such? If so are these parts still available? Source?

There is a huge expanse of beige to the right of the steering column... might be a good place for switches?

I noticed that some of the Ford Ranger guys put aux switches in the fascia around the stereo.

Would also like to find a source for OEM style switches... or something close to OEM looking.

That's just it - I was hoping to find out what OEM options were available before sourcing something like Carling Tech rockers or similar.

I remember we had a member post his expe which was an ex-cop vehicle. He still had his pillar spotlight on. He might still have the switch panel
