Oil capacity

How's it going ? I have a 2004 expy 5.4 what's the oil capacity I put 5 qts in and it brought me half way betweeen max and min then I put another quart in it and it's over max is this ok?

My 04 takes 6 qts. with a filter change 5 qts without a filter change

Run it for a few minutes and check in again after it sits for 5 minutes.

I put in 5 quart's of synthetic oil and 1 quart of lucus synthetic oil additive with my filter every 5000 miles.
