ORV Whip Flag Mount

Planning to hit a local ORV Park that requires 10' whip flags.

Does anyone have advice on how to mount to expy without drilling? Maybe a hitch mount or something attached to the roof rails?

I would do the hitch mount and make sure to add tennis balls at locations where the flag could hit the rear of the exped.

Hitch mount is relatively easy since you have the trailer plug in already there for the glow worm. However that is usually the set up for pick ups as when not in use you can just bend the whip into the pick up box. When we use SUV's on site, we usually equip them with a roof mount buggy whip that uses the existing cross bars as a mounting spot. The glow worm wires have to be put down through either one of the side rails post or through the rear hatch. Of course with the roof mount we always cut the whip so it meets the 14 foot or so requirement off the ground.

Not sure what ORV park you're going to, but some ORV areas in Michigan require the flag to be mounted on the front of the vehicle, such as Silver Lake ORV area. Most guys figure out a way to mount the flags to a front tow hook.
