Yep it took 7 years to finish this one. When my son was 15 he wanted a Lightning. Of course he couldn't afford a Lightning so this truck was the next best thing (or so I thought) We found this truck at a local used car lot and carted it home. It was a work special with a 6cly and a 5 spd. I found a wrecked 99 XLT with a 4.6 auto so I bought that figuring I would switch everything to the work special truck. Well that wasn't so easy. We switched all the wiring and computer and just about everything else that could be salvaged. Long story short...we had lots of wiring issues and got some bad advice along the way but in the end we came out on top and finally got the truck back on the road today. I think she came out pretty good.

Here is how she started life....

Well my son put alot of hours into himself. Right from the start I told him if you want a nice truck you have to work for it. The funny thing is when we started this project my son didin't want to work in the business. By the time he graduated High School he had changed his mine and ended up going to audio school and became a certified audio tech. Today he works along side his mother and me in the business. Since this truck took so long to work out all the bugs and get it on the road, it now will serve as a second vehicle / shop show truck. His other car is a 06 Charger.
