4A949D1B-1F76-4C64-8C0A-A0547786CFF6.jpeg image.jpg Swapped my stock XLT wheels and 285/75R18 Terra Grapplers for a set of 2018 Raptor takeoffs. No rubbing at all, which is astounding as they are much wider and my old tires did rub. ETA: the rubbing was only at full right lock, and the inside of the tire rubbed the fender liner just barely. Turning left it was fine, so I think the liner just sags a little on the driver’s side.
For comparison’s sake:
Stock wheels were 18x8 with a 44mm offset, and tires were 34.84”x11.26”
Raptor wheels are 17x8.5 with a 34mm offset, and tires are 34.4”x12.7”

Looks good, I like what you’ve done to your expy. The darker headlights, black grille, rims come together nicely.

Thanks all. Though the grille isn’t actually black, I just removed all the chrome pieces I had painted gray so I can redo them.

Rather than cut the axles, I used a 1” hole saw to drill through the center cap, minus the “Ford” part, which is removable. Then I used a utility knife and mini-hacksaw to clearance that bar until it snapped into place.

I love your method of trimming plastic before metal.
I’m usually as quick as the next guy to break out the power tools and hack metal up, but since it was 10 minutes after I had the wheels put on, I didn’t feel like taking them off to whack off the end of the axles. With the removable “Ford” bar, it made it easy to trim them up. I just need to hit the ends of the axles with some black spray paint.
