P144C code

My 2015 Expedition is throwing a P144C code and running rough on full throttle. From my research this could be plastic shavings clogging the lines to the EVAP purge and check valves. So I made sure those were clean by disassembling the air intake. I’ll clear the code and drive it again today, but if this doesn’t fix the issue, do I really need to replace the check valve/purge valve? Anyone else have experience with this code?

Replaced the valve entirely with a new one. Problem solved.
