Wanted to post a positive update about the paint bubbling on my Expedition. Thanks to Ford Customer Service on this site Ford will be covering the repainting of my vehicle. Thanks for the help in getting this accomplished!

Is your case a one-time deal, or have they had a change of heart?
Couldn't tell you, but the Ford Service Rep monitoring this site was instrumental in getting this through. Thanks again for his help and everyone else from Ford who assisted.

Yeah, a little help from the Ford Rep would be nice. Dealer said Ford denied my claim and I have the extended warranty on the paint. No perforation in the metal they say.

My tailgate on my 06 Expedition is all messed up I already took care of the hood by painting it myself. but in reality I've taken my truck since 09 to Spike Ford in Mission TX and always turned away that the warranty wont cover it. So huh yeah ford ain't doing nothing about this issue nor wont.
