Has anyone had PPF done on their 25 yet? I plan on having the front end done but was wondering how they do the hood with the lettering on it.

Got mine done, Full Front PPF.

I had two options, go around letters (I wanted to eliminate the lines), or pull them and reapply them when PPF is done. (I chose this option)

Once I had them pulled off for the PPF, I never had them put back on. I like the Debaged look personally.

So are they just stuck on with glue? I thought there might be holes they pop in?

Mines scheduled to be done later this month.... will look to have letters removed - and left off

I really think that looks nice without the badging. How did you get it off and was it easy?

I didn’t do it, the shop that did the PPF pulled them for clean look without lines. I just had them remove the rear to match.

I assume heat and some fishing line.

Yes, I had PPF put on the front, including the hood with the lettering. The pro cut around the letters so that it stays clean and well glued. Frankly, super rendering and protection assured.

I have thought about PPF for my '24 Timberline but was concerned it might yellow or become damaged itself and upon removal would result in damage or discoloration of the original paint job. Can any of y'all comment on your experience(s) with that?
