I painted the cladding, the grill & the chrome grill surround all gloss black.

I'm waiting on my black HALO headlights.

Sinister...

Ya know, I cannot upload a pic because it is too darn big and my photo editting software sucks.

I have a pic in my gallery at ford-trucks.com but cannot link to it.

I'll keep trying.

Stay tuned for my review on the HALO lights I got. (It isn't positive.) :(

I painted it it all myself.. :)

Check your email, smOOthride! And thanks! :)

The truck is dirty. :( But y'all can see the changes at least.

I'm looking to get my wheels powder-coated black in the future.

Here's the pic... it looks really good. Did you just sand, prime, paint? How many cans did it take? I'm definitely going to do this soon.

You may or may not remember that I used Krylon FUSION paint.

It requires no sanding and the only prep is rubbing everything down with alcohol.

I did used some very, very fine sandpaper to smooth the front a bit. Ya know...rock chips and what not.

I masked everything off and used about 6 cans to do everything.

So far, there is no peeling or any blemish of any kind.

Those trucks that are in places where the climate changes may have challneges but after 5K miles with the cladding painted, I don't think I'll have any issues.

Heck, I even pressure wash the bugs off the front! :D

I really like the grill and grill surround. I am still looking for a EB lower grill so that I can paint it black, too.

yeah i was actually just planning on doing this and am glad to see yours turned out so well. I live in San Diego so I don't really worry about the climate being very harsh on the paint. Hopefully by the end of next month I'll be posting pics of mine.
