Well it's taken me about 10 days and about 36hrs of work all together but I repainted the grille insets of my 21 Platinum. And let me tell you it was a pain in the rear lol. It is possible to remove all grill components without removing the front bumper. But wow, lots of small screws and dozens of clips holding them in. But with patience and lots of inspecting I figured it out. Originally was using a small die grinder to rough up the paint but just wasn't cutting it, so ended up buying a small sand blasting unit from harbor freight to attach to my compressor. So much quicker. Then once cleaned, i treated the plastic with rustoleum adhesion promoter, followed by two coats of rustoleum gloss black, then two coats of rustoleum clear top coat. Here are the before and after pictures.

Hey StormHunter, any additional details on how to remove the upper and lower grille insets? You mention a lot of clips and screws. The upper and lower horizontal insets on my '21 Stealth, are still chrome and I'd like to wrap but would prefer to avoid full wheels off, bumper cover off, grille off. Any help would be great. Also wondering how difficult it was to get the emblem off without removing the grill?

Hi. I am away on business till Monday. I will take some pics with details on how to remove when I get back. It's fiddly but slow and steady is the key.

Hi StormHunter, I saw in another post of yours that you were able to remove the chrome trim below the windows in order to wrap. I've located the screws for the door panel pieces, but the locations for the rear quarter panels aren't obvious. Are they behind the interior plastic next to the tailgate? I assume you had to take off the tailgate interior panel to access the tailgate strip?

Also I found the screws on the backside of the top grille insert. Can't imagine how you found and accessed screws for the lower insert. Did you get at them from above or below?
